I’ve lived in the same apartment building with Miss D for over 30 years. My husband and I are caring advocates for the elderly. We learned the ropes with our folks.
Miss D likes to tell me she collected children. She raised them when others couldn’t in her family. Well, I’m the same way with older people. Neither Miss D back then or I now could turn our backs and say someone else will do it.
